Searching for Blue Sky

Just playing, manipulating digital photos and having

It was a dark, dreary cold day and I was meandering,
through this deserted, dusty town. I stopped the car
to peer inside the windows of this old barn
and much to my surprise, I found blue sky.

Thought for today-
"Since wars begin in the minds of men, it is in the minds
of men that the defence of peace must be constructed."

Thanks for your visits and kind words.

And in our minds and spirit is where we create everything!

Beautiful image and thoughts.

Gorgeous picture and wonderful quote. Perhaps you should send this to Mr. Obama, while he still has control of his Blackberry.

Why is it that few men and women can envision and achieve peace? Of all the presidents who stood in the White House the other day, the only one in the bunch who ever seemed to envision, strive for, and continues to strive for peace is Jimmy Carter.

Okay, end of political rant and hijack of your comments.

Lovely photo and lovely quote. Thank you!

I saw a small, weathered building on a roadside yesterday. Reminded me of your photo, but with some Japanese writing in front.

I didn't take a photo, but in my mind imagined the moon that would be shining for you filling the windows.

A idea in thought for a conceptual 'night' companion piece to your day.

I love the contrast of the old worn out barn and the shiny red car. Great little prose piece about finding a blue sky in the window.

And awesome quote! Could be a proverb.
