"Blanket" is this week's theme at Illustration Friday
This blanket idea came to me as I was sipping my cuppa coffee and reading the Sunday paper. Why not just weave my own tale? If the media can do it, why can't I? So I embarked on creating my own blanket editorial- snip.weave.snip- to obscure and obstruct those skewed opinions presented before me. Much better reading, I'd say.
"Freedom of expression is the well that sustains civilization"
Now how about a little Cream with that coffee?
This is a great illustrated video.

THis was a tough one for me but you've got it covered...tee hee :)
Very well executed and a great vid for an amazing song - for once Cream that is not fattening.
I want to commision a sportspage tapestry for the G1ants victory... Go, go Nueva York. A parade up Broadway tomorrow.
Very well done! Bravo!
I very much like your newspaper blanket and wonder if you could mass produce them to sell as alternative bed coverings. You could use them for a week or two and then throw them on the compost heap and buy a new one. Preferably use papers that come from such exotic places as the Bahamas or China. It is a well known fact that newspapers have high insulation qualities, as Dutch skaters used to wear them under their sweaters when going on long distance skating trips.
My what a great concept. You are very clever. Love this.
This looks great. Thought it was a real quilt when i saw your thumbnail. What a groovy surprise.
