My contribution to this week's Illustration Friday challenge "Multiple"
This piece has multiple layer's, multiple elements and Miriam is wearing multiple bracelets.
Who is Miriam anyway? Good question...because this is the name that came to mind when I was creating this piece. So now I'm in search of Miriam.
Here's what I found:
Miriam, a Hebrew name meaning either "wished for child", "bitter", or "rebellious" but it may have been derived from an Egyptian name myr "beloved or mr "love" or Meryamun "beloved of Amun". Miriam was the older sister of Moses and Aaron.
I found this blog Miriam's ideas very interesting, Miriam has a lot to say.
Miriam Webster is an Australian gospel singer/songwriter and no relation to Merriam Webster.
There is a restaurant name "Miriam" in Park Slope area of Brooklyn, N.Y.
Miriam is a font.
A myriad on Miriam.
Miriam is someone's great grandmother, grandmother, mother, aunt, cousin, sister, niece, a wife, daughter, a girlfriend.
