"There are always flowers for those who want to
see them"- Henri Matisse
If you just look, you will be surprised at what you can
see.
Today as I was meandering around the house, I saw what
appeared to be a very, very teeny, tiny baby lizard, on the
white ceramic tile of my dining room floor. Sure enough...
this little creature was frozen in this stark unnatural
environment. He let me pick him up, so I quickly took him
outside, snapped his photo and wished him well on the
beginning of his new life in the wild. Maybe it was a her?
Enjoying the summer, how about you?
Wishing you well and many thanks for your visits and kind words.

Your piece is just gorgeous! The colors, the textures, the saying...just awesome! What a cute little fellow! I just love all animals :)
Lizards taste like chicken.
"There is always something that tastes like chicken if you chew it."
I like the collage, of course. Has a hippy quality sort of like Grace Slick quality. Amazing body language in that model.
Again, most inspiring quote and snippet of your life.
Lizards are flighty and fast and don't want to be associated with the taste of chicken.
The collage is wonderful and I will never cease to be amazed at your talent to transform the ordinary into the special, especially now that I am in a creative therapy class and I see how hard it is. Very few of us are that talented and I sure wish to be one of them.
It must be fun to hang out with you and be inspired by you.
how nice the reptile stopped and posed for you...a sweet moment for sure...
and of course your collage is wonderful
along with the quote
im gonna borrow that one...yup
ive missed you. glad to see you back.

My entire youth was spent searching for these critters. And here the critter is found inside. fun little guy. :)
Love that line; "There are always flowers for those who want to
see them" goes so well with your creation!
Cute little lizard! I'll bet it was happy to be out in the sun and the warmth.
And Matisse was right! We need to stop listening to politicians and start listening to artists.
I am in love with the pre-Raphaelites and you have just made my day!!!
Love the story, every creature - no matter how small - is a miracle.
Did you name it yet??
A lovely collage and with a Waterhouse image!!! (my favorite Artist) Lucky for him/her (little lizzard) you noticed! :) We had a wild life incident with Deer in our yard last weekend - to be expected where you are - but not in the city where I am - Flowers none the less however :)
Although large wildlife is unexpected, it is always welcome!!
I love the quote by Matisse. He is one of my favorite artists. Your work is so lovely..

I love your artwork, but you already know that! I have been busy lately and have not had time to come by. I love that quote! Happy Summer!
I hope you will be back here soon, I miss you.
I love this collage. Must have missed it before.
Having a good fall, hope you are too.
And hi to that cute little guy(gal?)...
