This past September I traveled back to one of my favorite places to celebrate my 50th birthday, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. This is a wonderful place to visit as an artist, photography or if you just want a little chunk of peace in your life. Many wonderful artists, writers, photographers have lived here and continue to find this a place to nurture their creative spirits.
My disclaimer is that I am not a professional photographer but I like to look.. closely... observe my surroundings, always searching for the beauty in all things.
Here are some of my favorite pics.
"Uncle Tim's Bridge" Truro, MA
a private marina in Truro, MA not far from the house Edward Hopper lived in for many years.

The water's edge ebbs and flows and each time presenting to us the earth, beneath our feet, each time a little more worn but beautiful nonetheless.
I am going to post a few more of my favorite pics in the days ahead. Just thought you'd like a sneak peak into this little jewel on earth.
Thought to ponder: Where does a dream go after you've dreamt it?
Thanks for stopping by and as always for your kind words.

Such lovely and peaceful pictures. I think I need a vacation like that. I will be watching for more, more, more:)
Lovely photos - and September would be so perfect and beat the summer throngs. Smart.
Have you seen book called "Cape Light" by Joel Meyerowitz?
