IF-Leap

8.5 x 11.5
Caran d'Ache Neocolor II crayons,
Golden Fluid Acrylic, rubberstamps
and a good ole pencil.

Here is my contribution to this week's Illustration Friday challenge "Leap"

I have always associated the word 'leap' with faith. I like taking chances and am not afraid to fall, most believe you should not tempt fate. I personally have never learned anything by playing it safe, as a matter of fact, I'm a 'big ole' risk taker and I enjoy the thrill of the challenge.

I believe fate should not tempt me. What about you?

Thought for the Day:-
"If you don't know your limits, then you don't know the heights of what you can achieve."

Happy Sunday! and a BIG thank-you, for your visits and kind words-

My other locale: "ThE ArTfuL Eye"

Lovely image, Andrea. Can I pretend that's me making a leap in a younger body?

Oh, I know my limits very well and the ceiling isn't very high. I go "bump" a lot.

I don't tempt fate, but have car crashed over it in the past. Now fate doesn't tempt me, I choose to ignore it and play it safe.

No more risks for me, only very little calculated ones.

Love it. I keep passing on all these great challenges because I draw a blank...you always make them so perfectly!

Love this, completely agree with the thought. When I'm scared, it's when I know I have to go for it and crash through another barrier.

It is most prtecious and so lovely a palette - a statement but also an invitation as the hand off the page draws me there to the right and back to the image.

It leaves us dancing and leaping - well, me, my feet moving...lively.

I like the contrast of the light body leaping against the dark, heavy background.

This is great. I love the contrast between the color of the left side and the color of the right side...
